THE BEST LEADER

Ever human race is in search of leadership and there have been various talks on best leadership and many millions of dollars have been spent in conferences all in need of building the best leaders. The question is whether leaders are born or made and that if they are made, why is everyone not able to lead. I have come to the belief that everyone is born with the inherent the leadership capacity and another question is how do we activate that leadership spirit.

Of late many leaders have risen or voted into office and at the end of the day they are crucified by the same they thought they were serving. Many managers have been criticised after falling short of expectation from their subordinates. Many people are out there criticising others for bad leadership yet they do not want to take the leadership roles themselves. They are very good at criticising others but they do not want to take responsibility. If you have never held any leadership position then why do you criticise others, if you hesitate to take up the role and be held responsible for your actions then why do you always criticise others. I do not mean to justify poor leadership or silencing you to question those in positions but my query is that if you have never known what it takes to lead people you will never understand that every leader is not perfect.

Why do you expect someone who has the same flaws as you to be perfect and make the rightful decisions as you? You expect someone to determine your destiny just because they are so called leaders. You are out there searching for the best leader but the best leader is somewhere hidden there. The best leader is not in a prefect, head boy, representative, manager, CEO or with any one. You are the leader of your life and take charge of your destiny, do not hand your destiny into someone’s hands and allow them to make decisions for you. I do not encourage you to rebel against your leaders or your company resolutions but one thing for sure is that the best leadership start with you.

Start by leading your life, start by waking up early, breaking bad habits, good financial management, health habits and etc and you will see that it all things becomes easy. Discipline yourself first and you will see that it will become very easy for you to fit into any situation and any organisation.

My point is that all success start with leadership and that leadership is your personal leadership. The key to financial freedom rests in your financial intelligence and not in the monetary policies as they work to support your leadership. The key to a healthy life lies in healthy habits and the health bill will only come to support your cause. The key to a peaceful society lies in you co-habiting peacefully with others and the law and police will only come to protect your leadership. The key to ore money lies in investing, saving and good budget and the employer will only come to help you by a higher salary pack to support your cause.

The best leader is you, and all those leaders above you in any organisation will only come to support your cause, so start by leading yourself and you will see that all those other decisions will work in support with you.
