Never sell the sun to buy a candle

Never sell the sun to buy a candle

It seems to be a parable sought of but the phrase is so simple to explain and to understand. Its not rocket science after all but simply what most of the people do in life. We trade the things that would last us a lifetime for small things that a quick to vanish. We tend to leave what matters most in our lives for that which is temporary. They are those things that come in our lives and they require us to give up some things that we already had. But is it that they will last a lifetime or they will be soon wasted? People often neglet this part of the story simply because they think that their world has been made meaningful and content with the newly found fortune .
Dear, there is more to life than the newly found thing.
The sun is something or let's say an object that provides the whole universe with daylight. It is there for as long as I wouldn't know. Then the candle is a man-made wax that can provide light only for a small sphere place and last for certain hours and melts down. Even the sun can at a point melt the candle. This then proves that the sun takes precedence over the candle. Then why would one sell the sun to buy a candle. Why do we have to sacrifice a bigger and great thing so as to buy that which is temporary and doesn't last.
In life they are some things that we do that would cost us. They are things we trade our time, money, brain and hearts for. It all comes down to that is it worthy it. If its not really worthy it then why  not leave it. They say " All that glitters is not gold" and that's the truth ...that which will catch our sight, steal our hearts and touch our souls it ain't like that it's all good and worth the trade. Mind what you trade with, what you sell for.
Every thing you do in life should profit you. Invest your time where you are guaranteed a result ..sell the sun when you know the candle you want to buy will last for eternity.
