The Hustle is Hands on Entrepreneurship

With what’s has been around the world in the world of business it has become so cool to be called an entrepreneur. Everyone now calls themselves an entrepreneur and we have people advocating for that under the banner of motivational speakers. The main reason why motivational speakers call people what they aren’t is as a way to try and help people believe in themselves but that has become a big problem because that has destroyed the spirit of practicality in people.
Everyone is going the easiest way which is getting more and more information about business and then think they are business people. I have read more than 300 books about entrepreneurship but it was really difficult for me when I got into the field. What you read in the book may not be applicable in real world so the best thing is being on the playground doing it hands on. You will find out that the business model that made millions for someone will fail to make you a dime in a different setup.
Entrepreneurship is a practice not a talk. It’s foolish to call yourself an entrepreneur when you haven’t sold anything in your life. It’s good to aspire to be something but don’t sell yourself lies that you are really what you haven’t proven to be. You might have been spoiled by the education system that tells people to be engineers when all they have done is reading volumes upon volumes of books. Having the potential to do something does not make you it. An egg has the potential to be a chick but you can’t really go around telling people I have a dozen of chickens while all you have is a dozen of eggs.
Think of entrepreneurship as a discipline like music or any sport. You can’t call yourself a guitarist just by reading a book a playing a guitar. You may put all the information in your head word for word but you cannot play a guitar until you spend time with it. How can someone call themselves a footballer when all they have done is reading a book? Cristiano is a footballer not because he thought it in his head and went on telling people that he thinks he is a footballer. In fact on top of his exceptional talent he put in a lot of hard work to sharpen his skills.
My point is that unless you get in the field you never know how really things work. At least start doing something and prove your talk. Don’t let your mouth to be too far ahead of your actions. For me after reading those many books and watching entrepreneurs for hundreds of ours I thought I was ripe for the market but the day I landed in the field I was proven so wrong. I had to start learning and adapting to the real world. Please if you want to be something, go on the field and learn everything practically. Know this: talk is easy but taking action is demanding, you need to be able to translate you plans, will and emotions in practice then you can then call yourself an entrepreneur
